 The Orbit team is one of the most creative and intensively trained group of hairdressers in the state of Maine. Our Staff has completed national training with some of the most renowned educators from around the world.  Beyond "Hair Shows", we incorporate monthly in salon education with national teams such as Paul Mitchell. In addition we have studied in the best academies, such as TIGI (New York)  Vidal Sassoon ( Miami) and many more.

 

In 2008 we launched our new location. We renovated one of the most beautiful homes ever built in this area into one the most beautiful salons in the state. Our space is 3000 square feet of hardwood and crystal chandeliers, modernized with imported salon furnishings and flat panel displays. We have harmonized perfectly the original architecture with the comfort and functionality needed to create a truly wondrous salon experience.

A shampoo is almost everyone's favorite part of a salon visit. Our lather lounge is a dimly lit room where you will hear the sounds of gentle rain, while reclining on the most comfortable lounger style shampoo stations ever imported. So you can receive the most deluxe and relaxing four stage Steam Treatments including a ten minute scalp massage.

 

Hairstyles are designed in the main cutting room.  This room is complete with an antique crystal chandelier overhead, seven foot tall hand carved mirrors, and the Flat Panel display over the federal mantle showcasing the latest in hair styles. This beautiful space is where your stylist will provide you with the latest and best cutting techniques, a precision blow dry, and most importantly an expert consultation.

 

 Your Color is created in a specialized area with a full and complete color bar, where the hair color is often mixed right in front of you. Color menus are available to offer a visual reference as part of an in depth and detailed color consultation.
